🩸 Lives Depend on It Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood—whether it's an accident victim, a cancer patient, or someone undergoing surgery.


🏥 A Critical Supply Chain The Red Cross provides about 40% of the nation’s blood supply, serving approximately 2,500 hospitals and healthcare facilities.


💉 Daily Demand Is High To meet patient needs, the Red Cross must collect around 12,500 blood donations and 3,000 platelet donations every single day.

👥 We Need More Donors Although 62% of Americans are eligible to donate blood, only about 3% do.
