YOUTH MINISTRY
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. -1 John 4:11

We strive to be a community where all students can discover Jesus’s love for them, grow in faith, and find their purpose in bringing heaven to earth. We do that with youth groups, service events, and our annual mission trip to Skagway, Alaska. We serve students from schools throughout the Portland metro area, including Beaverton and Tigard.

YOUTH GATHERING OPPORTUNITIES:

-
Youth Group (grades 6-12): Sundays, 7:00-9:00pm
Youth Groups for the school year are Wednesday night for Middle and High School from 7pm-9pm at the Open Door, the building across the parking lot from our main building. The Open Door has a gym where we play a lot of games, eat a lot of snacks, and spend time checking in, supporting one another, and learning about Jesus, his love, and his call for us to love others. It’s casual - we know it’s hard for people to make it every week so if you are a student, feel free to drop in when you can.
We will keep you posted about coming events and our Alaska Trip, which we will start handing out registration forms for in the coming months.

Good News Tues (grades 2-5): 3rd Tuesday, 6:00-7:30pm
Good News Tues is our elementary youth group that meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. We meet at the Open Door, the building across the parking lot with the gym. Like our youth group for older students, we play games, check in, and learn about Jesus’s love for us and our job to make that love visible to others. Unlike the older kids’ youth groups, we don’t just have snacks: because this is only once a month we share a meal together.
Our first meeting for the school year will be September 16th.

The Open Door is our Youth Ministry building,
and is located on the north end of the parking lot at MPC
