ADULT EDUCATION & FELLOWSHIP

They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. -Acts 2:42

ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL

Our Adult Sunday School Program is a great way to get plugged into the life of MPC! The aim of this program is to grow into more faithful and mature disciples of Jesus. Throughout the program year (Sept-May), we offer various courses that are rooted in the Bible and relevant to the Christian life in today's complex world. â€‹

Starting January 14th:

   Walking on Water

Adult Sunday School will take a deep dive into what it means to get out of the boat and walk on water. In Matthew 14 we will read about how Jesus invites Peter to get out of the boat and walk on the water, but we will also talk about what stepping out in faith means to us. There are many examples throughout the Bible where God asks people to step out in faith, people who did not think they were equipped for the job. During this series we will encounter some of those pieces of scripture as well. Please join us each and any Sunday at 9am in the chapel as we dive into God's word in a small group discussion format.

Starting January 30th:

Tuesday Morning Bible Study will be kicking off the new year with the book of Romans starting on January 30th at 10:30am. All are welcome to join us in the chapel.

Stay tuned for more opportunities!

SMALL GROUPS

We believe that God calls us to be in relationship with others in order to grow in love, faith, and the knowledge of Scripture. A variety of daytime, evening, women’s, men’s, or mixed small groups meet at MPC. Please contact the church office for more information about joining such a group. A few examples of the various groups are:

  • Friday Men's Fellowship, 8:00AM on the 1st and 3rd Fridays in the Fellowship Hall: We meet for a light breakfast of beverages, cereals and pastries along with a time of general fellowship and discussion. If you have any questions or would like to join us, please email the church office.

  • Presbyterian Women, meet times TBD: A gathering for women of the church, which includes food, fellowship, and Bible study.

  • MPC Comforters, Mondays 1:00PM in Rooms 107-108: In addition to wonderful fellowship, this group is also a mission effort of MPC, as they have provided more than 2,500 quilts for CARES NW.

  • Prayer Team, Tuesdays 7:00PM on Zoom: Every Tuesday, a group of MPC members gathers to pray for our church family, our community, and our world. Anyone is welcome to join, and please notify the church office if you would like to share a prayer request with our Prayer Team.
