ADULT EDUCATION & FELLOWSHIP
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. -Acts 2:42
ADULT SUNDAY SCHOOL
Our Adult Sunday School Program is a great way to get plugged into the life of MPC! The aim of this program is to grow into more faithful and mature disciples of Jesus. Throughout the program year (Sept-May), we offer various courses that are rooted in the Bible and relevant to the Christian life in today's complex world.
Join us Sunday mornings with John England and Heather as we dive into and discuss The Will of God as a Way of Life by Jerry Sittser. This book helps us understand how to seek God's wisdom in our lives and be present with where The Spirit is moving. As Francis de Sales said, “I have discovered that life is lived best when it is lived for God right where I am,” but understanding how to do that isn't always easy. So we will work on it
together.

The nature of the book and this discussion group is such that it's ok if you miss a week or two here or there throughout. In fact, you do not even have to have the book to be part of the discussion. However, if you would like to purchase the book, it is available from Powell’s and Amazon.

SMALL GROUPS
We believe that God calls us to be in relationship with others in order to grow in love, faith, and the knowledge of Scripture. A variety of daytime, evening, women’s, men’s, or mixed small groups meet at MPC. Please contact the church office for more information about joining such a group. A few examples of the various groups are:
-
Friday Men's Fellowship, 8:00AM on the 1st and 3rd Fridays in the Fellowship Hall: We meet for a light breakfast of beverages, cereals and pastries along with a time of general fellowship and discussion. If you have any questions or would like to join us, please email the church office.
-
Presbyterian Women, meet times TBD: A gathering for women of the church, which includes food, fellowship, and Bible study.
-
MPC Comforters, Mondays 1:00PM in Rooms 107-108: In addition to wonderful fellowship, this group is also a mission effort of MPC, as they have provided more than 2,500 quilts for CARES NW.
-
Prayer Team, Tuesdays 7:00PM on Zoom: Every Tuesday, a group of MPC members gathers to pray for our church family, our community, and our world. Anyone is welcome to join, and please notify the church office if you would like to share a prayer request with our Prayer Team.
