Thank you so much for visiting our website! We are glad you’re here, and we encourage you to look around to get a sense of who we are. Or better yet, come worship with us! We would love to connect with you. Here is some information about our community that you may find helpful:
Where are you located?
Our facility is located at 7555 SW 45th Avenue, right across the street from Gabriel Park in SW Portland. Click here for directions.
What are your services like?
We worship together every Sunday at 9:00AM and 10:30AM. The 9:00 service is a smaller, more intimate gathering, and our 10:30 service features music from our choir and a special lesson for children. Both services feature a mix of modern choruses led by our praise team, as well special appearances by our marimba ensembles and bell choir.
Are there activities for kids?
Yes! We believe that kids are the church right now, not merely the church of the future. During our 10:30AM service, we have a children’s lesson led by one of our staff. Following the children’s lesson, children (ages Pre-K to 5th grade) are invited to head downstairs for Sunday school. For parents of little ones, we have nursery care available during both services, as well as a “Cry Room” in the back of the sanctuary.
How often do you serve communion?
Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month, and we have an “open table,” meaning that everyone is welcome to come to the table of Jesus.
What does MPC believe?
Our church’s mission is centered upon Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:18). He is Lord, Savior, and Head of the Church. In the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus, we have seen the glory of God the Father, and we are invited to join in His transforming work in the world.
MPC is part of the Presbyterian Church USA and the Fellowship of Presbyterians. If you are curious to know more, click here to read a statement of faith that reflects the heart and convictions of our church.
