YOUTH MINISTRY
Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. -1 John 4:11
We strive to be a community where all students can discover Jesus’s love for them, grow in faith, and find their purpose in bringing heaven to earth. We do that with youth groups, service events, and our annual mission trip to Skagway, Alaska. We serve students from schools throughout the Portland metro area, including Beaverton and Tigard.

WEEKLY YOUTH OPPORTUNITIES:

Middle School Youth Group (grades 6-8): Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00PM at the Open Door (indoors, with distancing & optional masking)

High School Youth Group (grades 9-12): Wednesdays, 7:00-9:00PM at the Open Door (indoors, with distancing & optional masking)

Summer Youth Group (completed grades 6-12): Wednesdays, 7-9PM at the Open Door (indoors, with distancing & optional masking)

Rejoice! Kids Marimba Band: Our kids marimba band is for students in grades 5-12, and they rehearse on Saturdays during the school year. The group plays in worship several times a year, and occasionally participates in other events and services! Contact Director Amy McKean for more information.

Jubilation! Adult Marimba Band: We have an adult marimba group that rehearses throughout the year and plays for special worship services. Contact Amy McKean for rehearsal times.
The Open Door is our Youth Ministry building,
and is located on the north end of the parking lot at MPC
