Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them..." -Matthew 19:14

We take seriously the biblical mandate to pass on the saving knowledge of Jesus to the next generation (Prov 22:6). Our kids are not merely the church of the future, but the church right now! We offer a variety of programs to help our kids connect to Jesus and one another. For more information, please contact Heather Hellman, our Youth and Children's Director.

Sunday Children’s Message: During our 10:30 AM worship service, children are invited to come forward and hear a special message from our pastors, youth and children’s director and church members.

Sunday School: After the Children’s Message time, students are invited to Sunday School downstairs in our Sunday School classrooms. Our Sunday School is staffed by outstanding volunteers who are active members of our church. All volunteers are background-checked. We strive to provide a fun, safe, environment for kids to learn and grown in faith. During the school year we feature multiple classes for students in preschool through fifth grade.

Sunday Funday: On Communion Sundays (first Sunday of the month), we combine the classes for a larger Sunday School party, Sunday Funday, that includes games, art projects, memory challenges and more, with help from our youth group students. Then, we bring the kids upstairs to join their families for Communion at the end of the service.

Rejoice! Marimba Ensemble: We have a marimba group for students in 4th through 12th grades. This group helps kids lead worship and learn to play marimbas while having fun. The Marimba Group meets on Wednesdays from 4:30-5:15 during the school year. Contact Director Amy McKean for more information.

Elementary School Youth Group -Good News Tues: On the third Tuesday of every month, kids 2nd – 5th grade are invited to a youth group just for them. We eat dinner together, create an art project, learn a Bible Lesson, and play games. Good News Tues also has activities like parties at Pump It Up, and a special annual sleepover at the church. We meet every third Tuesday from 6:00PM to 7:30 PM during the school year.

Parent Night Out: On the First Saturday of each month from 5:30-7:30PM we offer childcare for kids ages 2-10. The cost is $5 per child, per hour with a maximum of $25 per family. All money goes to help fund our youth Alaska Adventure Mission. You must sign up ahead of time to be a part of Parent Night Out, you can contact Heather Hellman  for more information.

Vacation Bible School: Our VBS is a week-long, half-day camp for kids, created by kids. It is for Pre-K through 5th grade. Through science, art, music, story and recreation stations, the kids have fun learning about God’s love for them and the Bible. Our curriculum and activities are designed with a group of elementary school age children, so they are all kid inspired and approved and our program is unique to our church.
